Mission Week 25, Eindhoven Week 6

I'm sorry to both of my siblings who are expecting letters. I've been really busy, but I'll get them letters written today, because I'll have more time.
The herring I ate was not pickled, but definitely disgusting.
It's awesome that Matt's going to Chile. He'll be in the same country as one of my best friends. I'm guessing that he's learning Spanish.
How was Disney World? Am I going to have to go down there sometime in college? It's super-awesome that Gideon and his team won! You need to make sure that he is smart with his prize money, though. I'm excited for the snail mail letter.
It's cool that the cross country team is still doing well, even with all the people who have graduated in the last few years. Zach Smith, one of the fastest people on the team, is a senior now, I think. I hope they keep doing well in the following years. It's also really good that Aaron can take a band class this year. But it was probably really easy to get into one, because he has a good counselor, and goes to a good school.
Tell Gideon that I wish him luck with his paper. I hated reading the assigned books. There were only two or three my whole time in school that I actually enjoyed.
We had a really amazing experience this week. We set a baptismal date with Pastor Koopmans. We had a really spiritual appointment on Wednesday, and we committed him to praying to know if the Church is true that night, and when we called him on Thursday morning, he said that he hadn't received the testament he was seeking, but he now feels that he needs to work more on repentance. Then he told us that he had read in Alma 5, which is a really powerful chapter about repentance and baptism, and he said that baptism is something he wants. We told him that we would set a date to work with him to be ready, and he said that September 24th sounded good and that he'd written it down. When we called President Brubaker and told him about it, he said "Whoo!" He's changing things around so he's going to be in Eindhoven tomorrow to inspect our apartment (which is actually a house) and they're going to come to the appointment with us. I'm super excited to see how it goes.
The Church is true, and the Lord keeps preparing people to receive the Gospel, even if it's just a small and simple thing like inspiring a Catholic priest to look on the Church website.
I love you all, and I'll write again next week (of course).
