Mission Week 78, Gent Week 22

To answer that question, I think I do. I just do laundry multiple times a week. It's cool that there will be another temple dedicated in Utah. I was in Brigham City once—inside a four-seater airplane on the runway. The members here in Belgium are always complaining about how there isn't a temple in Belgium and how there won't be until a law is changed. They're a little jealous. Yesterday Sister Geens said that you're hard, because you're the only mother of a missionary with whom she has contact who isn't having a hard time with a child being on a mission. I told her it's because you've been through it before, and you're appreciating having three less people than before in the house. It is a good thing Aaron had fun on his river trip. I enjoy them, and as everybody knows, I'm not the person who jumps to spend time in the water. Sunburns are always fun. I've gotten a couple on my mission, but I haven't had a lot of pain from them, because they're not so bad (altitude) and the humidity here keeps them from drying. It's nice. I'm super-excited for Lillian and Victor (with separate, equal-sized packages of excitement). It must be an intersting process, marrying somebody from another country. Then again, I could ask most of the couples in the Gent Branch. I love home-made rolls! I think I might track down some yeast today and make some. As far as missionary work goes, this week was kind of slow. We had a bunch of appointments fall through, but we managed to meet with those investigators when we had a little extra time. We set a baptismal date with an eternal investigator named Agnes. We're going to help her try to get ready for baptism at the end of next month, and we're hoping we'll be able to get her husband on board with that date when he gets back from the Congo this week (he missed his flight on Saturday). But that's pretty much all that's happened. This week will be super-interesting. We're going to be going to Leiden for a zone conference on Wednesday, and the next day we need to go to Brussels for legality. It's a very interesting week. The zone conference is kind of weird, seeing as how we had a zone training on Thursday, and we have a zone conference on the fifth of September, but it'll be good. That's about all from this side of the Atlantic. I love you all.
