Mission Week 76, Gent Week 20

One of the members in Kortrijk apparently spent his whole mission in the same ward in Canada. He was speaking Chinese, and the only transfer he ever had was from one floor in the building to another. I'm not sure which floors, because it differs every time I hear the story. But I know that I won't be able to stay in Gent for more than eleven months. It's cool that my siblings went to Seattle. From everything I've heard, it's a cool city. Maybe I'll go sometime. I hope they have fun. Am I even going to be able to recognize the yard when I get home? With all the changes you describe, I might have to rely on the house number to find the house. It sounds like life at home right now is just full of the usual end-of-summer stuff. It's always good to be in the normal routine, without all of the hullabaloo that's happening since I left on my mission. The missionary work here is going much better. We've found a few new investigators, and we had three people in church, one of whom got translation to Russian during Sacrament Meeting. It's been really interesting serving in a companionship with three missionaries. I haven't needed to say nearly as much outside of teaching people, because Elder Davies and Elder Douglas just talk about a bunch of random stuff, so I don't have to keep the conversations going. I've gotten a lot of time to think about life. It's been nice. That's pretty much all for this week. I'm sorry it's short, but my life is boring. The Church is true. I love you all.
