Mission Week 100, Sint Niklaas Week 6
Yesterday I got an unexpected phone call. I'm getting transferred (back) to Eindhoven on Wednesday for my last five weeks. I'll be serving with Elder Lind and Elder Nish. The address of the Eindhoven appartment is
Kluizenaarstraat 13
5641 HE Eindhoven
Nederland
Once again, I really don't want to have to pack, but I'm super-excited to be going back to Eindhoven.
This week we had a ton of exchanges. There were three days this week where I worked with a missionary from another city, two of which I was in another city. And to top it all off, on the day when my companion and I were actually working together right in the middle of those exchanges, we biked about 21 km each way to go visit a member who had just moved into the ward. It was a pretty exhausting week.
It's been ridiculously cold here in Belgium. It's below zero Celcius, so it's freezing. Yesterday we took a break to go home and make hot chocolate and put on a second pair of thermal socks. But even with two pairs of thermal socks, my toes ended up going numb. It's ridiculous. And the ice is dangerous, especially when my brakes freeze into place. Hopefully it'll be a little bit warmer in Eindhoven.
With all the exchanges that have happened this last week, I really have no idea what's going on in Sint Niklaas. Elder Römer will say "Let's go look up this person," and I'll ask him who that person is, and he'll say that that person is super-positive and we've had a few appointments fall through, but I'll have never heard of them. It's really an adventure.
I really can't think of anything else that's happened this week, because of how scattered it's been. I love you.
