Mission Week 62, Gent Week 6

I'll just have to pester Shani about everything. I wonder if they went to the Mesa (I think) temple, where I've been told one of the senior couples from our mission is now temple president and matron. The baptisms were awesome! Elder Douglas and I had to help Martine into the font, and when she said her five names, everybody gasped. But then I said them without a problem (I'd been looking at the baptismal form for the last hour), and we baptized her. Then we helped her out of the font and Elder Douglas baptized Patrick. They were both radiant afterwards, and the Relief Society and Elders Quorum Presidents welcomed them beautifully, promising help and fellowshipping. Most of the Brugge branch was there to offer support. I forgot to bring my camera, so I'll send you a picture next week. I'm super-excited to go to the new West Jordan Library when I get home. I think it was a really smart idea to make a new building and to move the administration there, out of the (haunted) dungeon that's known as Whitmore Library. It'll also make it a lot easier for you to go to your management meetings. This week, I've started another read-through of the Book of Mormon (my third this year), and I'm looking for instances where there is a commandment given and a blessing for keeping the commandment mentioned. I'm thinking of it as a really in-depth study of Doctrine and Covenants 130:20-21. It's been really educational. I'm already in Jacob, and I've found a lot of stuff to mark and cross-reference. I love the Book of Mormon! It's super-awesome that Dustin and Jeff have their mission calls. I'm super-excited for both of them! They'll love it. I really need to write to both of them. I'm such a slacker. I haven't purchased world stamps in forever, but I'm hoping I'll have time to write letters next week. The Church is true. I love you all.
