Mission Week 93, Amersfoort Week 12

Thursday was just a normal day, with us eating dinner with a family in the ward (pea soup). That's pretty much the only thing I can remember of the day, aside from an appointment with our one investigator falling through. When I heard that Brother and Sister Geens were going through the temple on Saturday, I was really excited for them. We almost worked with the companion of one of the missionaries who went with them, but then they realized that that wouldn't be logistically effective. I just did some quick calculations, and I figured that the nephew of the sister in the ward who is coming here will be entering the field when I go home, unless he spends less than the full nine weeks in the MTC. The other day we were biking on a roundabout, and I really started craving yams. I just thought that was noteworthy. Something else exciting happened. I was sick yesterday. I guess I went too long without eating. But now I'm mostly better. This morning we had a good appointment with our one investigator who has a ton of questions. She commented on how quiet I am, and I told her that I'm always quiet. That's pretty much all I have. I love you. The Church is true.
