Mission Week 88, Amersfoort Week 7
I actually got my ballot when we got home from emailing on Monday. So I filled it out and sent it in on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, the post office didn't give me an "I voted!" sticker. But, "I've voted!"
Wednesday is actually the transfer day. Thankfully, we don't have to do anything, because Elder Christensen and I are staying together. And I've found a restaurant where you get a free three course dinner on your birthday. So I just need to see if Elder Christensen's willing to go. So hopefully, with that and Ward Council, I think I'll have a good day. Plus the bishop's wife asked me what my favorite kind of cake is yesterday. So she remembered that my birthday's coming up.
Things here are starting to pick up. We got two referrals last week, and we have an appointment to contact one of them tomorrow, when his wife said he'll be home.
On Wednesday we had the temple zone conference. I really love going to the temple. I was really reluctant to leave. When I get home, I'm going to go at least once a week, if not more. I've really missed being able to do so. But then Zoertermeer's so far away, it'd cost about twenty euros every time I went, so it's probably a good thing I can't go every week.
It's actually pretty warm over here. It's been kind of disappointing, because last week I specifically went and bought a new scarf, and I haven't been able to wear it much. Oh, well. I'll still have it for the freezing cold part of the winter.
That's pretty much everything for this week. Thank you for the birthday wishes. I love you! The Church is true!
